Well...I wasn't sure whether to upload this set of photos, but I think it's part of the process, so here it goes.
This series is about self-portraits based on the feelings I had the first days in Berlin. A work of reflection and connecting with myself.
Few people know, but I haven't traveled for a long time (20 years), and even less alone. We ventured on this trip with Pilar, and those feelings of not knowing if we made the right decisions, that feeling of suffocation, shortness of breath, needing a hug in moments of doubt, anger for not being able to communicate well, missing your loved ones ... Those feelings that make you question things flourished my first days in Berlin.
But why with a naked torso? Because somehow, I felt vulnerable to everything around me.
This work brought back memories of my first steps in photography and experimentation.
